Based on the way the article read, the reasons that his coach says Pitt would be perfect are the same reasons why we would be a good fit.

At the same time, it still seems like he was waiting for an offer from Pitt, and that's a bad sign to me.

We were leaders in his recruitment before, and he just retweeted a post by a cyclone fan on twitter. We aren't out of it and he doesn't decide till the end of summer.

i think some posts on here are a little bit of a misperception....okoro wanted to go there and was just waiting on an offer it seems...with CFH and TJ company we have a good shot at a lot of good talent including guys that have offers from the likes of KU, Pitt, Uconn, UNC etc just IMO

Don't write this kid off. I still think we are the front runners. And Chris seems to agree with this statement. We knew Pitt was going to offer him, and we still were really excited. Just because they officially offered him doesn't mean we're out of it. Not at all.

Am I saying that we are for sure going to get him? No, because there is a lot of time left but I wouldn't write him off right now.

Just thought I'd resurrect this thread. Will the negative nancys eat their crow? And fyi i have not been following his recruiting at all so not saying I told you so or anything. I was just looking for some videos of Okoro and came across this. Thought it was kind of humorous. I especially liked the Office Space reference.

So ya if anyone knows where the vids of him are please post! Thanks!

Gloom and doomers should be held responsible. I have no problem with it. If you have an opinion own it if it is wrong, because you would certainly own it if you were right.
