I agree, there was no reason for Tinsley to stay and graduate after he had used up his bball eligibility, and Fizer was a top pick (can't remember exact number) in the draft so you can't really blame him for leaving early. They were two of the best players ISU has had and should get their numbers retired.

I think not graduating is a damn fine reason not to retire their numbers. If the players that have had their numbers retired had to graduated in order to have their number retired, they should be required to follow the same guidelines. Why should an exception be made for these two?
There is nothing stopping them from going back to school and achieving their degree like many pro athletes do.

i'm not sure you think that word means what it means. i saw him once in 2 years at class. once. fizer wasn't much better, and i had several classes with him.
