Should we start going after Woodbury again?
According to a tweet I saw, UNC and Kansas are now showing interest in him. With the loss of Godfrey, I think we should take a serious look at him.

Because we all know that ISU is a more attractive option than UNC & Kansas
Re: Should we start going after Woodbury again?
If we stopped recruiting him, as has been reported, then the cows are already out of the barn.

Well they can be swayed back in with good feed or a big storm.

If Kansas and UNC are truly interested, then we're all SOL. ISU and Iowa don't have much to offer that would sway the cows back into the barn in that case.

Im betting Iowa and ISU can offer more playing time than those two. He is a good player, but he isnt Harrison Barnes. I highly doubt he will be a starter right away for either of those schools

Please incorporate cow/barn analogy into your responses. Thank you.

Iowa and ISU will have more milk to offer than UNC or Kansas

And there are plenty of ****** programs across the country who can offer him THAT. Very rarely do players with offers from schools like that go to programs that are in the shape of ISU and Iowa right now. They just don't.

He did.
Re: Should we start going after Woodbury again?
I saw him play a few times. IMO, he's a project.
Re: Should we start going after Woodbury again?
I don't really see what one has to do with the other. Their games are completely different.
Re: Should we start going after Woodbury again?
Something I've found too, is just because a kid lists he has interest in a school, it doesn't mean the school is seriously interested.
I've seen football recruiting profiles where the teams listed are like USC, Texas, etc., and the kid gets offered at Tulsa or Tulane or something.
If the staff figures he isn't a fit, then he isn't a fit. Doesn't matter if another team wants him.
Re: Should we start going after Woodbury again?
I certainly don't claim to be able to spot high level college basketball talent, but after seeing Woodbury play in Des Moines against Ankeny, I can't imagine the guy would ever be a star player on a D2 team let alone D1.
I saw Woodbury as a Jordan Egleseader type player, and that is putting it nicely.

He has improved since March, especially on offense, and playing with Marcus Paige on the AAU circuit makes him much more productive. He is a legit high major prospect.
