Gar Forman
Can anyone help my memory. I was thinking there were rumors of recruiting violations when at ISU. How did he make it to where he is now?

I don't remember any rumors of recruiting violations but Floyd took him to the Bulls with him, I believe he started as a scout, and he's been there ever since.

IIRC GF was involved in a grade fixing scandal in New Mexico, before e being hired at ISU. He took the fal for the head coaches.

I doubt Forman was completely innocent of the stuff at NMSU but his name was cleared for the record.

Re: Gar Forman
Gar just got the award for top Executive in the NBA, and has done an amazing job putting the Bulls Team together.

Is Gar short for something? If not, who names their child "Gar"?

Getting the number one pick and Derrick Rose when there was a 1.7% chance of winning it also helped. I wouldn't say he has done an amazing job after some pretty ****** moves the front office has made in recent years.

Agree with this. Gar has done a good job but if don't win the lottery and get D-Rose the Bulls would still suck. Also not Gar's fault but paxson was an idiot for hiring Vinny. probably could of got Thibby then instead of waiting 2 years.

Re: Gar Forman
My memory isn't good enough but weren't there some rumors of wrong doing while at ISU? I thought at least one of the rumors had to do with lending Kenny Pratt his car when his girlfriend was in town of something to that effect.
Nothing ever stuck but I remember there being some rumors while I was in school.
