Texas is showing interest. I know there was a thread on him some time ago and some people weren't mpressed with him. They must have caught him on a bad day because to many programs are interested to dismiss.

Wouldn't be a recruit thread without some youtube highlights. Looks like he has some hops and is a strong guard.

I remember most weren't impressed. He has really climbed the ranking ladder. Anyone know if we are still interested or if he's still interested? Not sure we have a big need with Sledge and Lucious...

Daniels in 13 would be a perfect fit.

Isn't this the typical progression for these message boards?

Recruit (X) is offered early by ISU. At the time, he has no other BCS offers, and therefore the self proclaimed experts on this forum criticize the recruits talents based on intense analysis of 60 second Youtube clips.

Then other BCS schools jump in, and the same experts fret about whether we still have a shot. They also expect said recruit to be loyal to ISU since we offered early.

It is sadly very predictable.

I'm not sure that really matters. Who do you trust, coaches or message board experts?

He dropped 46 in Saturday's game in Chicago tourney. From evaluations I have read, he is extremely quick and gets into the lane against anybody. He and Sledge would make for a very dynamic backcourt in the future. Lee visited Iowa State last fall and I believe we are still on him strong.

Add a shooter in Abrahamson to Lee and Niang and that would be a good class for 2012
