Re: Do you think they would allow wearing a mask to basketball games?
In tribute to Randy Savage some group of guys needs to show up dressed as the "Macho Fans" this season. Cardinal and gold cowboy hats, sunglasses, bandannas sparkly shirts with fringed sleeves, etc.

How about big cardboard cut out heads? like a huge (and of course good looking) Fred Hoiberg head. Or how about a Ron Burgundy? It would distract the opposing free throw shooter, 60% of the time it would work all the time.

Not that it's not a good idea, but I'm pretty sure both of those exact ideas have already been done.

cycloneman003 I believe would be the party responsible for the Ron Burgundy head (KU game in 2009 IIRC). Also featured Bob Saget and "Over the Limit, Under Arrest" for Morningstar and "Lookin' like a fool with your pants on the ground" for Sherron Collins.

Alrighty, I just though I heard on here before that they sometimes weren't allowed, but now that I know they are I'm pretty excited.. (As excited as you can be of course 6 or 7 months until basketball season).

Quite sad. There is no encouragement to break form.
Considering you get turned away for wearing the gold version of the cyclone alley shirt or even the hoiberg jersey.....makes for a constricting atmosphere in regards to attire.

Just have to find fun ways to work around. I'm telling you, Macho Fan is the way to go. You could easily incorporate the t-shirt into that look. Plus you get to yell "Oooohh Yeeeaaa!" after big plays. What's not to like?
You'd have to commit now though. It will take all summer to create gameday attire that lives up to this standard:

I understand and I don't. Why should I be able to pass my shirt off to a friend if I paid to sit in CA and he didn't?
And I've never had issue with being dressed up provided I at least carried in my red CA shirt.

Think they have a cardinal and gold version of this in the bookstore?
