He's fairly new to the sport. "polish is not what we would be getting here - rather a "project" with upside. The yin to Niang's yang. Hah. Haha. Hehehe....
Free throw shooting isn't that big of a deal when your head man is Hoiberg, who will improve that in short order. If he can play D and rebound, then I want him if Fred does.
Diamond in the rough kind of guy. If he doesn't develop we aren't out all that much a couple years scholly worth a try. We need to take some of these risks and hope they pan out, as we know some won't.
Needs polishing like Kelvin Cato needed polishing or like L. A. Pomlee needed polishing? Seems a touch risky to offer a "project" in Juco since they have fewer years to develop. However, Hoiberg seems to know talent, and I'm a random guy in Wisconsin...so who knows.
Hes cool. I like him a lot, Bell said of Abdelmassih. Hes fun to talk to. He has a personality. Most of the other coaches are quiet. Matt will talk about off the court stuff as well. I like him.
I want to go somewhere else and do my own thing, Bell said.
Well alrighty, probably why he didn't get along with his first coach.
