What's forgotten is the cheap shots Iowa took before the game. The game program had Lutz as the head coach, Freddy as the assistant coach, and ISU's record showing a loss to Iowa.
Always better to win than lose, especially vs. Iowa. But that was a pillow fight and not really a good pillow fight at that.
