Well that's good. Do you think that maybe late in the draft, teams just pass on guys they know have a chance because they are set at the position and don't want to waste the prospects time?
I'm Hearing that Phoenix, Cleveland, Charlotte and New Jersey are all offering Diante Garrett guaranteed money as a free agent.
IMO this is much much much better than getting selected at the end of the second round. It lets DG decide which team he has the best chance of making instead of being bound to someone.

I'm sure he'll have options. My money says he'll end up overseas for a year. That was likely going to be the case even if his name would have been called tonight.
DG not getting drafted in the last 10 picks is bad for ISU recruiting (or I guess just not good, we were kind of playing with house money), but it is probably good for DG in the long run.
