Sign him up Georges. Have we ever had a better recruiter that was still in HS?

    Re: Negus Webster-Chan

From the sounds of things Negus Webster Chan may still be a target. Meaning that last spot would be between him, Dorsey-Walker, and Jake Layman (as far as high school kids go)

I don't know if a formal offer has been extended to Layman but I do know we're interested. I had forgotten about Bernadini.

This dude is good and loves ISU. It would be great if he talks these other good ballers like Chan into coming and playing with him under Fred. ISU is being set up to be very good and stay good.. Which will in turn bring us even better recruits.

It seems Layman is going to Maryland. They have been his favorite for awhile. Its awesome seeing Niang recruit for ISU all over twitter!

Phil Bates was always trying to get kids to come to ISU. Every story with one of the prospects that had contact with Bates had them mentioning that he was trying to get their commitment.

Somehow that ended in irony, but I don't expect Niang's story to end the same way as Bates' did.

Any chance they go JC with the last scholarship in 2012 class. Hopefully one of those 3 high school kids will sign. And What a bout Elgin Cook where does he fit in now...

It's still hard for me to take a guy seriously when his name is Webster-Chan. He sounds like a Japanese school girl.

If I had to pick between the last 3, Webster Chan would be my man. He has phenomenal handle in his video, and can shoot well enough to play the 2, with the height and athleticism to play the 3. He is the most versatile prosepct we are still targeting, and could give us a ton of options.

Couldnt have said it better myself. Can play PG, SG, SF - depending on all of our other talent we want to get on the floor.

The interesting thing to me, is that NWC has rarely (that I've seen) ever really interacted with fans of recruiting schools. After decommitting from l'ville, he visited Mizzou right away, and I haven't heard anything much since. Funny how he suddenly asked Georges to get him cyclone followers.... I don't want to get over-excited, but something is happening...

This would be a TJ recruit correct? Mann nor Abdelmassih was on staff when we began recruiting him a few years ago.. Right?

Yep, that would make sense. Rivals has TJ as recruiter, FWIW.
