I'm not a night person, but I would love Midnight Madness!!!!
I think the official Midnight Madness weekend is the one that we play @ Mizzou in football which is too bad. Not saying I wouldn't love it, but in conjunction with a home football game it would be perfect.

Wow, say what you want about the athletic department using a marketing scare just to sell tickets...but it sure as heck worked. Thank goodness I bought my tickets on Tuesday, almost would have missed out! My only concern is that all these students who bought season tickets will actually show up to the games. I know a few people who bought some last year and never went to a game, it's a shame. Winning more ball games should take of that, I hope.
I'm confused. So were sold out. Haven't we also sold out in past years too and hasn't the student section been half full despite it being sold out? I'm not going to get excited about this until I don't see a ton of empty seats in the student section.

Yep.
The tickets get bought but not very many of them go to every game. There have been years recently where 100-200 student season tickets wouldn't even get picked up. This means that parents are buying them for their kids who aren't interested in going.

Yes but it usually doesn't happen this early. I will tell you that there is an incredible amount of hype to this basketball team not only on this site but also with students. Word has gotten around about the potential of this team and students are excited! I think the student section will be much better this year!
I'm excited every time I step foot in Hilton, the problem is that most students I have talked to don't like basketball (even though I might like it better than football).

Because they were sick of the previous staff's ability to lose. Win games. Attendance, excitement, and crowd noise will take care of themselves.

People I meet all over are excited about this team. There is a lot more hype that we've had for quite some time.
