You had it good. At least you saw couple bowl games and the NCAA tournament. What were wrong with the Morgan years? High paced winning basketball? (Not to get into this argument again - but after the last 5 yrs would take in heartbeat)

I'm sure some have had it much worse. At least got to see a bowl game I guess.

Highlights were personally seeing the Minnesota and Texas wins. Great times.

Same here. We had it rough. The bowl game, Texas game, and Nebraska game were outstanding though.
Don't forget missing out on Harrison Barnes and watching Chizik's staff try to get plays in on time.

In my two years there, I got to see 5 football wins and the first two years of the McD era.

Sorry, make that 6 football wins.

2000- 05 I witnessed the 2 and only chances we will have to go to the Big 12 title game stream down our leg like honey on a tree in 100 degree heat.

Nevermind, make it 7 wins. God, I can't count. I was there for McCarney's last year and Chiziks first year. 2006 we won 4 games and 2007 we won 3 games.

Your miscount probably came from how many of those wins felt like losses. Im not sure we deserved to win any of those 4 games in 06.. that year was brutal. You pretty much know youre in for a rough season when you begin with 3OT to toledo.

It sure was. That team easily could have ended 0-12. All the games they lost were blowouts and all the ones they won came down to the last play.

That year was a total letdown. I was expecting big things. The game I remegmber the most was the homecoming game against TT. We were losing so bad that the student section were throwing their rally towels at the team. And it was raining, so you could throw them pretty hard.

Collegiate career was bookended by pathetic football seasons, but had 2 fun (albeit frustrating) ones in the middle.

The '04-'05 basketball season was an absolute blast.

Nothing is as bad as watching the football team in the 90s.

Same here. I remember going to the games and waiting for halftime because they let you in for free after half. Thank God they aren't that desperate for fans anymore.

As a little kid with my dad. He took me to a Nebraska game one year. Never seen a beat down like that. Though I don't think I really cared, I was just excited to be at a football game.

Also a 03-07 student, I have to agree going to games at Hilton to watch a really fun team was great. I still can remember how loud some of those games were especially Kansas, Iowa, and Texas Tech. Cyclone Alley was rocking that year too.

Also have to say we made the trip down to Kansas to watch our football team flush the Big 12 North Title down the toilet. What a frustrating season that was. To top that day off the Kansas football fans are absolutely the most pathetic in the Big 12.

I went from 2005-2010. It was pretty painful although I'm sure it's been worse.

I attended Fall 1997-Summer 2003. I got to witness:
ISU beating Iowa for the first time in 15 years
ISU WBB knocking UConn out of the NCAA Tournament and Elite 8 run
2000 football season, including ISU's first ever bowl win
The 1999-00 dream season, including the Elite 8 run (which should have ended in a national title)
ISU "beating" Alabama in a bowl game
"The Run" and OSU's first ever top 10 football ranking

Renewed our $99 group of season tickets. I kind of feel like I am stealing them. Front row of the balcony on the aisle. I'd rather have these tickets than some of the middle seats down lower. Especially based on the price...
