Yeah, we don't really need games scheduled ahead of time. Worse comes to worst we'll send out teams of two to the local parks to try to hustle the Italian streetballers.

Wow, rep for that. Where did you come up with that poster, or did you do it yourself?

Is there any iowa press print coverage? DMR on-line doesn't mention the trip at all.

Of course they don't. Should we be suprised?

Actually, they started out saying 5-6 games, then 4-5, and now 3-4. Doesn't most of europe go on vacation in august? There's a reason Illinois and West Virginia decided to scrimmage each other.

The most important thing out of this is the 10 practices and the cultural/bonding experiences. But its also fair to say this probably wasn't the best planned trip from a competition standpoint. Maybe that's why LSU went to Italy in May?

This is really sounding like we are going to Italian gyms and calling "next" in some rec league games.

Brilliant. Repped you hard for that.
"Freddie knows the game," Bird said. "I'm sure he picked up a lot of stuff over the years from different people. College is different from the NBA, but I'm sure he'll do a great job."
