Here is some interesting news that many of you can read into:
From Mark Miller who ran the Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook Tournament today,
FWIW, I asked Matt Thomas on Sunday if he planned to attend WI Advanced Camp this week. "I don't think so," was his reply.

That has to be good news for us, right? Well, it can't be bad news. Though, I wasn't really worried about Wisconsin anyway. I'm much more worried about Virginia.

That can't be bad news, but I don't want to get my hopes to high. I wonder if this news has gotten to the WI boards yet.

Cincinnati got a verbal from a '13 SG today. Kevin Johnson - Yahoo! Sports
I'm not sure what they're scholarship situation looks like for next year, but this could possibly affect their pursuit of Morris.

They have two shooting guards on the books for 2013 class now, Troy Caupain committed to them a few days ago as well. As far as their scholarship situation goes, it appears they are currently two short for the 2012-13 season and will have 4 graduate after the '12-13 season. That leaves them with 6 openings, so plenty of space for him, especially considering they would only have two true guards on the roster (both juniors for the '13-'14 season).
How's that for a summary of Cincinnati? -

How's that for a summary of Cincinnati? That's pretty good - except that it doesn't sound like they'll be easing up on Morris. Damn. That's ok - I feel like we have a nice head start on them as it relates to Morris. They're offer came recently, right?

Re: Recruit List (Online Version)
Came upon some recent information regarding a local product that will be of interest to some and who is also receiving interest from Iowa State and Iowa among other high-majors. 2013 PF Ted Friedman out of Ankeny HS and Kingdom Hoops AAU currently holds offers from Northern Iowa, Drake, Creighton, St. Louis, Colorado State, Pepperdine, Weber State, Lehigh, Tulane, and Florida Gulf Coast according to NY2LA Hoops Recruiting Director. Coach Hoiberg has personally watched a couple of his games just this past season and at 6'8" and 225 lbs is definitely one on the local scene to keep an eye on.
Here is a highlight video from NY2LA Hoops - NY2LAHOOPS.TV - 2013 PF TED FRIEDMAN - NY2LAHOOPS.TV -
