Re: Recruit List (Online Version)
For those projecting '13 class/ SFs, don't sleep on Juco Dustin Hogue. He's at Indian Hills, so he'll e very accessible. If there is a position we need a Juco (or player with experience) in '13, it's the SF (outside of the shotblocking C, of course).
I really believe he will be a priority of the staff.
Ideally then, we would fill it out like this:
PG/ SG - Morris
SG - Thomas
SF - Hogue + a frosh
PF/ C - frosh
PF/ C - frosh, Juco or transfer.

I think any SF PF or C is priority. We have Okoro at the SF after this year and that's it. I guess you could slide Ejim to the SF if needed but he is more of a PF. So we badly need 1-2 SF's preferably one being a Juco. We have Ejim and Niang at the PF. Adding 1 more PF for 2013 would be good. We will have Percy for Centers. We definitely need to 1-2 more centers. Again one of them preferably being a Juco.

Re: Recruit List (Online Version)
Last night CBS Sports replayed the Addidas Invitational championship game from last weekend between the Florida Rams and NYC New Heights. The Florida squad features two likely McDonald's AA in Kasey Hill and big man Chris Walker. Hassan Martin an ISU recruit plays for New Heights.
I was somewhat surprised by Martin. From what I had read before he sounded like a wing type player. Right now he is not a perimeter type player at all, he played strictly in the post, often times matched up against the future one-and-done Walker. He is listed at 6-7 and I believe that, has broad shoulders and a good frame. He's only 16 yet, so I could definitely see him maturing out and being able to play some 4 for Iowa State, much like Ejim does now. He seems longer than Melvin. Shows good explosion off of two feet, dunking it a couple of times after a drop pass from teammate and getting another fast break dunk, running the floor. Looked to have three blocks. Didn't try and do stupid things like alot of AAU kids, passed the ball when needed and looked to box out on shots taken. Didn't show much offensive skills. He's a lefty and did show two dribble drive in lane going left, but was rejected by Walker.
Martin broke his wrist and missed some of his high school season, so he's just starting to get looks now.

Re: Recruit List (Online Version)
So are we after E. C. Mathews or not?
I say this because I think players like this could come in and play in three guard line-ups and we wouldn't be worried about having a stable of "small forwards".

we are watching him, but I don't think have offered him yet. Other seem to be a higher priority.

Have we offered or showed interest in 2013 PF Kentan Facey?
There's an article on his recruitment blowing up on Scout's ISU home page, but I can't find any profile's with us mentioned

Huh? He's 6'6" and will likely only play the 4 if need be with Niang and Gibson being here.

2013 F Zach Hanson of Pierre Riggs High School in South Dakota has given his verbal commitment to Creighton. A call was placed to the Bluejay staff last night to accept their scholarship offer.
"I called Coach McDermott last night and he was really excited," Zach said on Tuesday afternoon. "I'm really excited to be a Bluejay and our family is really excited to be a part of the great fanbase that Creighton has."
more to come.

Confirmed by @PaulWSeville that Pierre and Dakota Schoolers post Zach Hanson gave a verbal to Creighton late Monday. Had local + BCS offers.
