Re: Recruit List (Online Version)
First it was Clyburns little brother, now Babbs little brother. Does Royce have a little brother we don't know about. Then we could actually consider ourselves "Little Brother" -

Re: Recruit List (Online Version)
Yeah, I wouldn't mind some legacies as long as they can play, and with young Babb list of interests it would appear he can. One thing is for sure, he watched Hilton games this year, there will be no need to introduce him to the meaning of "Hilton Magic". Especially with the eruption of the crowd after the 3 ball to clinch the Kansas game his big Bro sunk.

With the guys we appear to be in on for 2014 I'll be a bit surprised if he gets an early offer. Of course, I've never seen him play.

He has been added to the 2014 Recruit List I know we have been trying to get "in" on a lot of east coast kids, with some success, but I sometimes wonder why we did not try to augment our apparent base of WI, MN, and MI and prep school (Brewster) with a concentration on Texas/Big 12 country?

Re: Recruit List (Online Version)
As long as he gets a scholarship based on his own merit, I think it would be a great get. Guys like this are always good on your team because they many times have a further level of attachment to the team than most. To many, we are just a scholarship and a certain coach. Also, if we somehow end up with him and he pans out, I can't help but feel like it is another stick into the side of Penn State. I hope they already miss Chris. Of course, we've been on the other side of the fence with transfers many times ourselves in the past. Lots better to be on the benefit side now.

It would be great to get 4 more years of someone who can "babb" the other team up. Meaning shut down the other teams best guy.

Have some respect for the program and believe that Fred & Co. can pull in some big talent. It's showing already in the likes of the 2013 class, with continued success there is no reason to doubt being able to pull in Top 50 and Top 25 talent each year.

Re: Recruit List (Online Version)
Nobody ever said that Vaughn was to good for us. EVER. Someone made that part up and ran with it and credited it to me as if I said that. Basically anyone still making that joke has no chance of being funny ever. They can't come up with any new material to make fun of. That's o.k. though. Not everyone is funny.

Do not even joke about not being able to get a good recruit or else suffer the wrath!!!

But, rather as a whole about how we've stopped recruiting him or he's too good for us. Yes, there will be an occasion where we have an offer and yet the player is not interested and then it is fine. However, this is not such a case and Iowa State is very much involved in the recruitment for Vaughn.
As someone else said, the joke is old, get over it and put forth some respectable posts on recruiting.
