I don't know much about the guy. I see he was offered by Arizona so that leads me to believe he is pretty good. Can anyone give me some info on him?

Was also offered by Pittsburgh and St. John's...he already has a Big 12 body and plays will great energy. Will cause problems for people on defense.
Could very well jump up in the rankings once the season starts, but doesnt play summer AAU ball. Thats a likely reason why he isn't 'ranked'
I am looking forward to see him play
I've been freaking out for a while now - even though I think we're probably only a borderline NCAA team (I think we'll get it). The recruitment, especially when you can follow it on twitter, is fun to follow.
If Georges has big success, he will be UBEr popular. He already is somewhat.
Okoro might be one of the most underrated recruits I can ever remember. I mean, I don't think we've had a recruit with his kind of offer list since Brackins. How on earth do you have the offer list he has and NOT be a top 100 (let alone top 150) player? Crazy...
i no longer sweat the rankings stuff when it comes to nyc players. there's so much local competition and tournaments they don't have to go to all the national aau stuff if they don't want to. so a kid like okoro, who didn't play this summer, won't get ranked.
thanks to the emergence of twitter, the rankings process is much less of a mystery (to me). all of the recruiting guys who do the rankings all go to the same tourneys. so if a kid plays well for a few games, everyone sees those same games, and voila - he's "ranked" (on all 4-5 lists!). and that's fine. scout/rivals/espn etc aren't going to spend every weekend in the winter in different cities watching high school hoops.
Fwiw, I think Okoro is ranked pretty high (#60 - something) by "the Hoops Window"
recruitrecon.com
MadcityCY- I googled Hoops Window and it redirected me to this.
Georges is at 61
Nkereuwem is at 82
ah nice - I forgot about recruitrecon. Below are the rankings by HoopsWindow (N.D. Kendrick) that I was thinking of.
Nkereuwem at 62
Negus Webster-Chan at 77
Georges is unranked.... makes me think these rankings could have been done before the summer...

actually i don't disrespect the work that a lot of these guys do. (van is a hawk homer, obviously) again, thanks to twitter, its proven they watch a TON of games, usually with the top prospects.
my point was that the majority of the analysts watch the same games, with the same "pool" of players. so if you're a non-aau nyc kid, or a small town iowa kid etc you're not going to get ranked.
there's a difference though between the proven national scouts, and the crap like "hoops window" and stuff that fanatics link on bleacher report etc.
