Big 12 Notebook: Pre-Season Rankings, Questions - Jon Rothstein - MSG.com
Nice article. Has us at 7th, but also the potential surprise team of the conference.

Neither Kansas or Texas in the top 3??
I'll have to see it to believe it

pullen was obviously a huge part of their team, but they do return several starters from an ncaa team, + a stud juco PG and a transfer from st. john's. they'll be decent.

I don't know why they make this guy write about the Big 12, when he seems to just be a Big East guy.
The last thing of his I read was this article, where he lists his teams that "could bust open an NCAA bracket." Of these five teams, zero played above their seed, three played to their seed, and two played below their seed.
This article also exclaimed that Missouri has "a dead-eye shooter off the bench in Ricky Kreklow." In the Big 12, Kreklow shot 2 for 20 on 3-point attempts.
Rothstein doesn't know **** about our league.

he's interviewed hoiberg and scott drew this summer, which is two more b12 coaches than most "big east" bloggers.

Wow, if Royce is a first teamer, I don't see any way we don't finish in the top half of the conference. We have too much talent around him that would make teams pay for as much attention that good of a player would get.
Forever trying to find a cure for the Dunning-Kruger Effect. -
Re: Article: Royce White Preseason 1st Team All Big 12
I hope he stays for another year after this year.

Pullen made all the tough shots at the end. He is a huge loss for KSU no matter which juco they bring in. The guy was primo at the end of the game.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

Re: Article: Royce White Preseason 1st Team All Big 12
I don't think he will score enough to be first team but if Royce is anywhere close to getting considered for it we will be very very good.

Re: Article: Royce White Preseason 1st Team All Big 12
Just for fun:
1. A&M
2. Kansas- I can't see them finishing any worse than second.
3. Baylor- Will find a way to blow it, even with the most talent.
4. Texas
5. Missouri- Will find out just how important good coaching is.
6. Iowa State
7. Kansas State- Hard to replace a guy like Pullen.
8. Oklahoma State
9. Oklahoma
10. Texas Tech
As usual there are a few tiers here. The top three are pretty set, the next five are similar, and the last two are bad, very bad. I'm glad we are getting out of the very bad tier.
