Re: Cyclones still in running for Negus Webster-Chan

I like the thought of his ball handling skills on the wing. We haven't put a lot of that combination of size with ball handling skills at the 3 consistently, or the two for that matter.

Thanks for the interview... Other sources have indicated that he is essentially down to either Iowa State or Mizzou...

Is this a new conference, or a potential recruit?

I realize you may have forgotten this,

But, is there really a reason for every thread to resort to conference realignment?

Yes, because it does affect everything Cyclone at this point. i am almost sure if the Big 12 was secure that we would have a couple extra football committments(namely Daniel Burton) and NWC may haev already picked between us and Mizzou.

Actually NWC hadn't planned on deciding until the spring, but has now moved it up to November per his latest interviews. So, the portion of your statement that is bold above holds no water...

Even if it does affect everything in recruiting and athletics it still doesn't need to be brought up in every thread...

Re: Cyclones still in running for Negus Webster-Chan

I'll say it again - I'll be happy with either NWC or SDW. It would kind of be nice to get NWC just because Mizzou wants him.

Given the latest commitment of SDW I'm guessing that NWC is headed to Missouri...

You are correct, it is up to the staff and how they feel about our current scholarship players if they are willing to over sign. I personally would not be surprised if they continue to go after SDW and over sign if possible...
