LE gets new contract

It always seemed like Eustachy was a great coach, but a less prominent recruiter. He took Floyds kids and made them into one of the two best teams in the country. Then when the Floyd players left he had a ton of trouble rebuilding. He and Morgan were the perfect duo though, with Morgan being a dynamite recruiter, and Eustachy getting everything he could out of the players he had. And then he had to go slumming at college parties....

I think he's a good recruiter. He's funny and engaging. I can see him relating to just about anyone. He's brought in some studs at USM. I'm guessing his addiction just took over his life, especially those last couple of years.

Larry was slumming long before the 2002-03 season.

He took some of Floyds kids and some of his kids to make that team. Than he repeated with a lot of his kids the next year to another Big 12 championship

Man that would suck to stay a D1 coach and make good money every year. What a poor guy!

Some of us appreciate a Big 12 championship or two and an elite 8 even if he screwed up after that.

Agree. Show some ******* respect. The man won back to back titles for ISU. The man bled cardinal and gold while he was here too. He STILL loves ISU. He made a mistake, and had to pay for it. I still disagree with the decision, but what is done is done. (Although I have seen worse things done by coaches over the years only to not get fired...etc.. i.e Eddie Sutton, Rick Pitino, Calapari....etc...)
