Not everyday that you see a right handed kid finish with his right but dunk with his left.

I like the sounds of long. As mentioned, he would be a nice complement to Sledge. At 6'-4", it would give us a lengthier option should Sledge have problems guarding or running Offense because of a particular matchup. It's to be seen if he will have problems with this, but Long does sound like the yin to Sledge's yang.

Yep, there is a schollie available for the Spring 2012 semester that Long can claim. As of now, there is not one available for Fall 2012 so it's possible the staff has some inkling that a current player or a committed 2012 recruit will not be here for Fall 2012

Long would add depth for this season's team and if issues emerge with PG play this upcoming season, he would be a talented alternative to address those issues.

Also, he is capable of playing WG, too, so he and Sledge would have the potential to play alongside each other.

Where is that spring schollie coming from?

We have an open scholarship this year so he could use it this spring

6'4" - "Long" for a PG, definitely a plus at the position ala Diante. Definitely like that we're recruiting another guard who can full-court press.

We're late to the table but worth a try.

He's more similar to SDW than anyone else on the roster.

He could redshirt this season and still get the advantage of practicing with the team.

I got a Diante Garrett vibe from him in that video.

Not the case at all. I actually believe that NWC would have gone to Iowa State. Cyclones felt a need at PG and that's the route they are going IMO.

Do you have any info on where the scholarship is coming from for next year?

So if NWC wants to go to ISU will they turn him away?

In my opinion, no, he does not have an Iowa State offer.
