I'm reading way too much in to his comments but he sounds more excited about the squawkeye program...unless the paper just slanted the comments that way.

Myself I'm yet to be convinced Fran has that program in the right direction. Is it better than before, sure.

Not to be the Grammar Police, but that article was terribly written. I had to stop reading because my eyes hurt.

Great, so CFH brings in a bunch of transfers, most of whom are just looking for a fresh start, to jump start the program and now all of a sudden he has to be known as Father Flanagan like that's going to be his mission in life. Lets just gloss over the fact that he has and prefers to recruit very talented High Schoolers who from all indications are all quality individuals. Convenient and Lazy Dickie.

Yes, let's see what happens when Woodbury tries guarding Royce.

Or what happens when Gesell tries to stay in front of any of our guards.

    December........1989.

Dick is the turd in the college basketball punchbowl. You get excited for that first big matchup that's going to be on ESPN every year, then all of a sudden you turn it on and there's that POS there shouting at you about how awesome Duke is going to be.

The last time I was excited about anything pertaining to Vitale was a couple years ago when they announced he was going to have vocal chord surgery and miss a portion of the season....it didn't last long enough.

I didn't think there was anything wrong with what he said by watching the video. It's all going to come down to - can these guys come together and win a lot of games? If so, then being Father Flanagan is a great thing. Go Cyclones!

So does Freddy make them "duck walk" as punishment?
They say country music speaks to the heart. Unfortunately, it has to go through your ears to get there.
