Mcdermott's gone. No reason to fear Drake and the Mo Valley Conference anymore. I hope they are at full strength when we face them, better test for us.

Exactly my earlier point. Mcdermott made me gun shy after taking that beating against Drake when Drake went off that year. I am tired of losing to UNI, it was cute once but not anymore (this coming from a UNI alum, and supporter of Panther athletics). I am a UNI fan other than when playing ISU. I love hearing Hawk fans last year say that they dont care about basketball, they'd truley feel that way after a 30-40 point smack down.

Saw Rice play in the CCL. He looked pretty good and went through a growth spurt as far as lb's are concerned. He might be Drake's version of White in the sense he can do it all. Bring up the ball, pass, shoot outside and rebound. With his size he'll be a match up problem for our guards. We'll probably have to put Babb on him.
