Kurt Alexander and Rayvonte Rice
Has anyone heard if these guys have officially been handed their suspensions? My guess would be one game and back for the ISU game.
Can't wait to go into the Knapp Center this year!

Re: Kurt Alexander and Rayvonte Rice
Two games, but one is their exhibition game. So yes, back for ISU.

Re: Kurt Alexander and Rayvonte Rice
The Knapp Center will be a fun place for Cyclone fans!!
I'm looking forward to it.

Re: Kurt Alexander and Rayvonte Rice
Does isu allow exhibition games to count toward suspensions or is this just phelps desperation?

Re: Kurt Alexander and Rayvonte Rice
I was in the Drake student section with Iowa State gear cheering for the Cyclones 2 years ago... I'll be doing the same thing again this year.

Yet he'll play that 2-3 non-matching-up zone after we've hit our 15th three of the game, so I don't understand how it will really help his guys anyway.

Re: Kurt Alexander and Rayvonte Rice
playing them without Rice would be similar to the Italian trip.

I'm looking forward to it. It hasn't been in the past that's for sure. Hopefully Drake's current lack of depth with their big guys will play a huge factor in an ISU victory.

I think it's a lot friendlier with Phelps in charge. His refusals to adjust really play nicely into our favor.

Re: Kurt Alexander and Rayvonte Rice
You are right about Phelps, surely he won't play that same zone that doesn't get out on baseline 3 point shooters. Then again, how will they guard ISU man-to-man? Tough match-ups for Drake.

I don't think the full-court press will do Drake any favors, either. I don't see a 48-point beating, because those are just crazy, but about 33 seems right.

Re: Kurt Alexander and Rayvonte Rice
I was at that beating last year and I was thinking that we need to lay one of those on each other in-state rival, lets set a tone as the only program in the state.
