I think he will be a crucial key to our success this year. The size and athletic ability he brings at 6'5" is a huge asset to this team. He was the lowest rated player out of the transfers but I think he will be one of the biggest keys to our success.

Thoughts?
Absolutely agree, especially with Scotty having to run the point. We need that spot up shooter. It will be nice that we have 5-6 guys on our team who can hit the 3ball with some regularity, as opposed to 6 guys on our team PERIOD.
I can really see Babb fitting into a role very similar to Jake Anderson's role on last years team. He has the size to rebound, probably a little better shooter and looked like a very reliable defender in the exhibition. Color me excited!
I loved what I saw out of Babb in the first game. I think he's going to be an good defender and probably our most efficient offensive player. I think he'll be better than our recent spot-up shooters because he's a better passer and has more size.
Chris Babb is going to be a great player for us. I know he can shoot, but i'd love to see what he can do when he drives to the hoop. I think he is going to be fun to watch these next two seasons.

He doesn't have the dribble drive game you're hoping for. He's a spot up shooter and hard nosed defender and rebounder.
I was really impressed with his game in the exhibition. He took good shots and made them. He rebounded well. He had a solid game.
This.
We will miss Godfrey a ton this year when it comes to rebounds.

Babb is going to be our "tweaner" that will hopefully cause match up problems. His size will be tough to match up with for most guards and he's so athletic and can shoot so well, he should cause problems with forwards on the offensive end. I think he has the ability to guard anywhere from a 2-4 with success.
