Quest for 4 @ 40%

Christo, Babb, McGee and Allen all have legit shots at shooting 40% from three-land. And I'm guessing that few teams, let alone ISU teams, have had 4 regulars shoot 40% on threes in any one year.

After 1 game, we have McGee at 100%, Allen at 50%, Christo at 40%, and Babb at 22%.

And as a bonus we have Books and Bubu at 100% (1-1 each).

Among other stats, I'll be watching to see if we can indeed get 4 @ 40%.

a nice stat from yesterday, ISU shot almost 46% from 3 point land as a team. were going to be in a lot of games if were knocking down shots from long range at that rate.

It sounds crazy, but I think you are right. I'm not sure that they will all get there, but they all have a chance....especially if Royce, Booker, and Ejim can cause plenty of trouble down low and slashing to the hoop. However, the defenses will get much better and much more athletic down the road....

Not seen in game yesterday, but noticed in exhibition Ejim seems to have improved his 3 point shooting quite a bit over the offseason.

Let's not get greedy. 40% is very high and he shot like 20% last year.
