Re: Marcus Fizer
I question anyone who is a "born again Christian" or a minister. Religion is great and so is politics, but only in moderation.
I think it would be possible for him to earn a paycheck over seas, but it would be nearly impossible for him to get back to an NBA level with his past injury problems.
I wish him the best, but the non-functional world that most profession athletes live in, do not prepare them and allow them to be successful after their careers are over.
Just my thoughts.

Just my thoughts. Question away. I'm one of these born-again Christians.

Just my thoughts. Religion has no meaning in 'moderation.' You're 'all in' or not in at all.
I wish marcus and his many descendants well.

I wish marcus and his many descendants well. I think he/she is talking more about how its expressed or forced on others.

Originally Posted by BBHMagic I think he/she is talking more about how its expressed or forced on others. Exactly.
I believe in God. I try not to discriminate against any person based on their skin, religion, and political orientation.
I believe in good and evil people. I believe there are both in all religions and political organizations.
I believe in treating people as well and better than they treat me.
I rarely discuss politics or religion in a serious discussion with anyone.
I believe in Tim Tebow as a player and a person.
This is my creed.

Good thing this thread didn't get completely out of line and stayed on topic.

I probably should have stated "I question anyone famous who is born again christian or minister." That probably would be more accurate.
