I wish him the best. My screen name is a tribute to the last Iowa State team that he was on, with Tinsley, when they were a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament. I hope he does well, and it's nice to hear that he's at peace with himself if he doesn't. Maybe he winds up on the Iowa Energy...?
I wish him the best but his comeback strikes me as delusional. I'm glad to see he has focused on community and family now, and I guess I would rather see him throw all that energy into his ministry and community.
Great story. Fizer will be one of the all time greats at ISU. We will be forever pulling for him in what ever he wishes to do in life. I will be pulling for/hoping for the best with his basketball career and more importantly his family life. Fizer feels like family to us, and we hope to see his kids in the program someday. What better place to bring your kids to college than ISU!
Wish he would have come back for his senior year, but understand why he didn't. ISU would have likely been the pre-season favorites to win the NCAA title had he come back.
I love his desire, but a comeback from one of the biggest bust in the NBA draft that I can remember seems delusional...I just don't see it, sounds like he has a good career going within his community and has a good family life, don't stress your family by trying to go out and accomplish something that should of been done awhile ago your almost 34 years old, good luck thou I wish him all the best
