3-1, but as a fan i always hope for 4-0. you never know, but michigan is a great team. Im not expecting anything but a loss. Lets hope the team gets the job done
These next 8 days don't mean jack. The first 4 conference games is the true test.
These games are important us, because it's shaping up to be a weak year in the Big 12, with 10 losses within the conference already. We can't count on a strong RPI if we win 10 games in conference. A couple of Rice, UNI, and Providence may all be top 100 RPI wins and those would be nice on our resume.
Sounded like the team played much better tonight. I'm a little worried about our dependence on the 3-point shot, but I guess when we have as many shooters as we do, you take what you can get.
I hope to see more feeds to White and Gibson down low.

ISU does appear to rely on the 3, but so far seems to be a strength —*four players with more than 5 attempts per game shooting 33 percent or better and two at 45% behind the arc (33% is shooting 50 on 2's)
If it's done properly within the team's offense, it's an asset.
It has potential for misuse: if bad outside shooters are chucking them with 25 seconds left on the shot clock; bad shot selection for game situation; not taking advantage of hot shooting to draw easier shots underneath if an opponent takes away the shot (pertains to your example of feeding the bigs).
It appears our D is getting better along with our rebounding, that was huge last night vs Providence. As expected our team is getting better as the season goes on and if we can get our act together I still believe we have a very good team on our hands fellas!
I take a longer view. Fred is building a program which takes time. Want to see progress now, then some good wins in conf. We can see the improvement in ability already. I can be patient when I see quality.
Then you are preparing for next year as you need to win almost all non conference in order to go to a tourney this year and improvement happens to all teams during the course of a year. Michigan will tell us a lot about our team.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

You just described the Drake game.
Good win tonight. Percy looked really good again in limited time. Railey picked up a comical 3 fouls in 2 minutes of play. McGee and Babb were both unstoppable and Royce did a good job setting screens and grabbing rebounds in a game where he never got it going offensively. I liked that we started having him take it to the hoop at the end of the game and forcing them to foul.
Percy looks like he will be a very good big for us as early as next year. I think by the end of this season, he'll be capable of scoring 10 ppg if he's given some minutes.
He is extremely fluid around the bucket. I seem him taking more and more of Ejim and Booker's minutes. He's just got to become a better defender and rebounder. If he can do that, he's in our top 6 or 7 for sure.
