Most teams that turn off lights for intros are not actually turning off the lights - they are simply "covered" - take Drake for example. I would not think it would be all that expensive to install mechanical light covers at Hilton.

And there are liabilty issues when people are still trying to get to their seats........In the dark is not a good thing to be going up or down steps at any age.

5 claps with no background music was one of my favorite things about going to ISU basketball growing up and I think it was dumb to add the music.
Also I've noticed that the music is usually too loud to actually hear the names of the starters for the other team. It's just an annoyance and I don't understand why they felt it necessary to change it.
