I knew DG was our best player and was a great player but I just didnt know we'd miss him so much this year. We miss his play making ability and leadership. We need someone like dg who will fire his teammates up.

I agree and was always a fan of Garret. He stuck around all 4 years and improved his game, people complaining about him were pretty silly imo.
DG gave us a legitimate point guard to not only handle the ball and distribute, but drive to the bucket and create. We don't have a legitimate point guard right now, and he would have done wonders for this team.
would make our team this year 1000x better. look at his assist totals while throwing to vanderbeken and Scotty primarily. imagine him dishing to white.
With a supporting cast like this years, probably would have gotten a bit better NBA coverage.
I definitely liked Bubu today over Allen. Allen's intensity is um... lacking sometimes. He rarely pushes the ball up the court, and maybe that's because he's not comfortable enough. Bubu almost always runs the ball up the court among defenders and is looking to pass ahead for a transition bucket. It doesn't always work, (in fact we had some guys who couldn't catch today) but it keeps the defense on their toes.
BuBu and Tyrus are playing like they are giving 100%. Our other guys aren't playing D, are taking bad shots, and like you say are not pushing the ball.
I'm not sure what the NCAA rules are, but I'm fairly certain that players only have 4 years of playing eligibility

We're undefeated with DG right now and you cannot convince me otherwise. Last years team beats Central Michigan today by 12-15 and it's never close, which is weird because I still think this team beats last seasons team.
