BASKETBALL RECRUITING: Kyle Washington to visit
Just wanted to let you guys know that I'm hearing Kyle Washigton, a highly-touted 2013 forward will take an unofficial visit on Wednesday. Here's his ESPN profile. Basketball Recruiting - Kyle Washington - Player Profiles - ESPN

I hope he can see the potential of a half-empty Hilton. The crowd Sunday was pretty weak (myself included). I can only imagine what it will be like on Wed.

I was weak Sunday. Thanks for leading to a key point- those of us there on Wednesday need to bring it.
Lipscomb gave Memphis a run tonight, too, based on the score of that game. The guys better bring it as well.
Put it all together and we really do have a great night to show off the Cyclone nation.
Exciting to see Fred in on all of these talented recruits. Whether this young man becomes a Cyclone or not (and I hope he does), we won't lack talent in the coming years.
Thanks, CW. This made me feel better about things!

Niang was right, Washington is a priority for this class.
Good to see us get in good with a post.
Samuel, Thomas (Matt), Washington seem to be priorities.
In other prep/ recruit news, some of the top recruiting analysts (Evan Daniels - Scout, Dave Telep - ESPN, etc.) watched Jaylen Brantley play at city of palms this afternoon. They RAVED (via twitter) over not only his shooting and shot selection, but his overall floor leadership and bball IQ. Not sure if is a focus by the staff anymore, but his stock is high, and could get higher.
Isaiah Watkins (F, teammate of Tyler Ennis) stated in a recent story that ISU is still in the picture - FWIW.
I'm sure SvrWxCy will have a more complete update on the days news later in the other thread... Good work Chris on getting this information on Washington!

Thanks, CW. This made me feel better about things! All we need is more stiff non conference opponents.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

The type of a recruit we need to compete in the Big 12.

Would be a great get. This 2013 class could be really good. Washington, Samuel or Ennis, Chris Thomas, Matt Thomas, others. We are going after some great talent.
