Could last game be a blessing in disguise?
I know we should have killed them but could the game being close help light a fire into this team? This is the first time I have ever seen hoiberg mad. Hopefully his players wake up and start playing like they care. Hopefully hoiberg really rips these guys a new one.

i thought that was what the Drake game was supposed to do. I prefer to blame this game on Royce being sick even though we played ******

If they weren't motivated, why would ripping them a new one change that?

Re: Could last game be a blessing in disguise?
How many games has this been said after? 13?

In past years, talent lacked but at least the team gave it 100% the entire game. This season, we have talent (or the perception of talent) enough to dominate lesser teams and compete with good ones - but it does not seem like we want to play the full 40 minutes.
Our MBB team thus far has been uninspiring to watch.
What gives?

If it were an isolated problem, no big deal. It seems to have been a factor in all the losses, and the inability to slam the door in a half-dozen victories.

Have some talent, but not always going to play really hard. I wonder if they are playing hard, and it just seems like they are not as we have some skilled players. Kind of what Donovan McNab was. Seemed lazy, but was just good and methodical. Either way, we dont seem like a very good team this year.

Glad to see that Fred is finally showing some of the same emotions towards the team I am.

Re: Could last game be a blessing in disguise?
Doesn't seem to be Freddie's style, he may be too nice to be that kind of a coach.

Re: Could last game be a blessing in disguise?
When you have at least one wake up call every week, you're just not good. End of story.

Re: Could last game be a blessing in disguise?
It could but I think it might be reality. You either have heart and work ethic or you don't.

This team has all the intensity of a pack of koala bears. Maybe the light will go on one of these days but I'm not holding my breath.
