attendance for tomorrows game
When i looked on stub hub and ticket master there weren't to many tickets left, I'm thinking that were going to have a great showing tomorrow tonight despite no students being there, I bet at least 12k

I'll take that bet. They extended the $5 student tickets deal for a reason. I can only assume it's because they haven't sold squat for tickets. I'm trying to remember the last time we had 12,000 actual butts in seats for a game. The upper student section very, very rarely has people in it.

I have read more posts this year from people saying that they weren't/didn't go to a game because they were waiting for the team to show them something then I think I ever have.

Re: attendance for tomorrows game
There won't be 12k in physical attendance.
It might push 10k in actual attendance, but that's almost surely a bridge too far.

Re: attendance for tomorrows game
I bet there are like 20 people at the game.
The Big 12 is so stupid starting games before the students get back. They should be more like the Big East or Big 10 who...oh wait they started their conference play before the new year.
Guess we can never have anything nice.
In all fairness, I think that the place will be rocking tomorrow night. I know a lot of people have taken advantage of the $15 deal. That will fill the student section pretty easily.

Re: attendance for tomorrows game
As a student, I'm driving back to Ames tomorrow for this game, then staying in my dorm room before coming home for the weekend on Thursday.

We had over 12000 butts in seats vs. Iowa.

Hopefully there will be a lot, this season has been depressing from a fan turnout perspective.

Re: attendance for tomorrows game
Hoping for a great crowd. Announced will be over 12k and maybe close to 13k, actual probably somewhere around 10k.
Talked my parents into coming to their first ever game at Hilton, so there's two that normally aren't there. Looking at Cyclones.com, our section is almost sold out. Balcony student section is going to be completely empty, but I guess that isn't unusual.

Re: attendance for tomorrows game
I'm going out on a limb and predicting that more than 11 people will be at the game. -

Re: attendance for tomorrows game
Yikes. Ticket sales are really not going well if we have to resort to 3 tickets for $9.
