Big Ten = #1 conference. Not relevant during basketball season. Everyone knows this. Where have you been?

I'll go do that thing the Samarai did when they failed. You know, sword to the gut until you die.

What scares me is that IOWA has serious help on the way!
Do we truly?
If white stay two more years we are good!
If you have a problem - if no one else can help - and if you can find
them - maybe you can hire: The A-Team. -

I'll go with a tie... both are doing fine.

It took a terrible shooting effort by UW for Iowa to get the win. That said, all that matters is indeed the scoreboard.

Fran is doing what he can with a lot less talent. A lot less talent.

If white stay two more years we are good! We have a very nice class coming in as well, I'm not worried.

Last year it was Fred, since he used what little firepower we had with DG/Scotty/JVB and let them run an offense that kept them competitive in almost all of our conference games. I was just about to say this. Last year it was obviously Hoiberg. You guys had a pretty solid team with a relatively bare cupboard. Iowa's was even barer, but we also didn't have as good of a year.
This year, ISU has more talent on an individual basis. But Iowa seems to have captured that chemistry factor, making them more than the sum of their parts. ISU has yet to find that, and it's shown several times. The lack of a true point guard has hurt ISU, too. Fran has his team playing as a TEAM, and that gives him an edge for this season right now. Overall, a slight edge to Fran. ISU has stagnated a little from last year, while Iowa is moving upward. I expect that to change before long, though. Hoiberg is going to get ISU back, too. And I can't wait to see the battles when Iowa and Iowa State are both back to where they once were!
BTW, someone listed Iowa as having won @ Purdue. We beat them in Carver last year.

4 undefeated teams left... 2 are in the Big 12. Big 12 > Big 10.

If white stay two more years we are good! I still like our upcoming recruiting classes better than Iowa at this point.

It's ridiculous how some people's absolute hate for the Big 10 can cloud their judgement so much that it makes them look like a complete dumb***. Why would I hate the Big 10? The fact is Big 10 is an inferior conference. Of course, every conference has good teams, and Wisconsin may end up one, but they are not overly athletic or talented.
