I think the defense slowed down against Texas as well due to foul trouble. Of course if we're shooting well we win, but there's always a good 50/50 on whether that will happen. Don't know how good MSST and Rice are, but those look like bad losses. Of course Baylor and Florida are expected, but the others weren't. Plus they only average 63 PPG. Hopefully it's a good game.

The Refs made defense impossible against Texas.

I'm interested to see if Palo's injury really has an effect on this team. I don't understand Hoiberg's infatuation with Bubu and his ability to slow things down. All I see from Bubu is out-of-control dribbling into the lane, poor passing and poor shooting. I'd like to see McGee get a few more minutes in Bubu's absence.

Bubu does play defense and he gets to the line (making them is another story). He also distributes the ball and does an admirable job bringing the ball up under pressure. All of these things have been sporadic at best from our other guards.

EDIT: Also tight defense was difficult the way they were calling the game, but those calls didn't stop the team from getting back down the floor and getting between the ball and the basket.

What's your idea of a big loss? I think it'll be pretty close either way.

We are a 3point shooting team playing with out any point guards and are going on the road in conference. Good luck to us, hope we win but not expecting much in this spot.

You do know we have a guy named Royce White don't you? He showed Wednesday that he can be a force down low...if he could make FTs we would be in luck.

He's a 50-60% FT shooter. Get use to it.

Hes got really good mechanics at the line. Like Royce said, he just has too big of hands.

If Royce improves at the line, it will likely be during the offseason.

I think he can, but in-season improvement on that doesn't happen a whole lot. They're focused on other things during the season.
