Anybody else take just a tad sip of the kool aid after last nights win? Yeah we know Texas is a very young team, but finally the Clones played together. Texas got on a few runs, but we never gave up. Is tourney talk still up there? Well yes it is. It's always up there till we lose 5 or 6 games straight in the Big 12. If we plan on getting there we have to beat a team like A&M. They are down in the dumps. It will be a good road test, but we have to get this one if we want any chance at the tourney or even NIT. Lets just hope the guys continue to play with the fire they played with last night.

Hope that is only because it's a road game. A&M is a much worse team than Texas.

We have to be smart though. I know our team lives and dies with the three, but if its not working then work it down to Royce. The man is going to battle with the best of him. I don't see anyone on A&M's post stopping him. The guy is just too big and strong. Very crafty for a big man too.

3 point shot can hurt us at times, but it does keep ISU in striking distance in most games.

I'd like to see more attacking the hoop on offense, especially from Chris Allen. He can get there off the dribble like Scotty and Tyrus did a couple times last night.

Wow I actually agree with you. Felt like there were times last night when Royce was posting up down low and had a clear advantage with a 1v1 situation and we weren't able to get the ball to him for some reason. If the shots aren't falling we have to get the ball to the big guy.

Loubeau is still there? he is very good player...A&M has a ton of talent they just haven't gelled the last few games, if we play bad we will get smoked

not sure we're quite tough enough defensively and smart enough offensively to pull one out on the road.

that said, A&M has horrible fan support so if there's a time to surprise on the road, its this game right away. they don't have a PG either.

Everybody keeps saying this, but I don't actually think Royce is much of a scorer unless he's in a situation where he can use his quickness and ball-handling to take a big guarding him off the dribble. Yes, he's a post player and yes, he's very talented, but he's skill set isn't in that traditional low-post banger mold. If someone can point me to the game where he's been a low post scoring machine I'll take that back, but I don't think that's his game and they shouldn't force it.

If they amp up the defense like they did last night, they can overcome some shooting woes. The crowd won't be there to help, but might not be there for A&M either. Always the optimist, ISU 68- AM 64
