Re: Chris Allen?
CA played pretty darn solid in the 1st half. Lost his shot in the 2nd, but overall I'm ok with his effort today. Babb was the one that hurt us more today.
Unexpectedly good effort overall though. Loved what I saw for about 30mins of the game.

Re: Chris Allen?
Both Allen(5-15) and Babb(0-8) tanked us, along with Ejim shooting 3-10. That could be some of the least productive starting guard/smallforward play in the big 12.

Re: Chris Allen?
Give it up for CA. He played big time today. Did some of the usual things that drive us crazy, but I thought it was one of his best games.

Re: Chris Allen?
Before the season, I was really excited for Allen. I legitimately thought he was a good basketball player. I work with two guys who went to Michigan State, and I talked alllll about how we got Allen.
You know what their reactions were? They just laughed and didn't give a ****. THem and a friend of mine who went to MSU told me Allen was terrible and was glad he was off their own team. I guess I didn't understand at the time.
Now I do. He has THE worst shot selection I have EVER seen, and his basketball IQ is just absolutely ******* low. He is not a team player and he can't hit **** to save his life.
This isn't the first time his selfish, stupid play has lost us the game. SO many times he has taken off balanced shots early in the clock without even making one single pass and missing it. It completely kills any sort of momentum.
He played a decent first half today, but this is a two half game, not a one half game. He ended up 2-10 from 3 point range and many of those were shots where he didn't try to do anything team related.

Cry me a river, we live and die by the three...so let's bench the two of the top 3 point shoters on our team...yes, real smart...

OK ISU doenst have any extra guards. I think this team does better when White isnt bringing the ball up. This team struggled when SC was playing PG. It needs a PG. A PG does more than bring the ball up.

Re: Chris Allen?
Chris Allen is in no way at fault for today's loss. Period.

Re: Chris Allen?
CA will drive us crazy all year. Just get used to it. Not having a PG is a very big problem...to those that can't seem to grasp that.

When Royce is not on the court, the offense does not run through anyone.

He's shooting 34.95% after this game from 3.
Coming into this game, he was 5th on the team in percentage from 3. Ejim is next on the list at like 22%, so it's pretty safe to assume Allen is still 5th.
