And I don't understand our ineptitude at either. Free throws are mental, and rebounding is largely desire and toughness. Royce got every rebound against AandM and tonight not so much. I also didn't like how we played "Ole" defense when they got into the lane. Can we play help defense?

If I went into this week anticipating a split, I'd feel more confident getting it at home vs. Missouri than winning at KU (partly because that would guarantee a split, at minimum).

But I'll take it either way.

Missouri is ranked 1 notch higher, but KU is now tied for first, and I still say is going to win the conference. Hate to concede a home game that was winnable, but an upset in Lawrence will have more impact.

I'm prepared for a humbling outcome, but you never know.
