why do refs call obvious flops
Missouri was flopping all over tonight. Royce finally flopped and got the call.my question is everyone knows the player is flopping on the charge. Except the ref. The ref always buys the acting and calls a charge. I don't get it. I hate floppers. Just play basketball.
Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

This thread needs more corny floppy jokes.

Re: why do refs call obvious flops
Flopping drives me crazy. I compare it to the soccer players that feign injury. *******!
That said, I think in most of the flopping instances tonight, a player either lowered the shoulder, hit 'em with an elbow, pushed off, or just plain wasn't in control. In that case, because the player flops, doesn't mean it isn't a charge.
Gotta utilize the jump stop against teams like Missery.
