Refs and again, Chris ******* Allen. Allen is a terrible shooter. Coming into the game he was shooting 37% from the field. That is awful. Yet, he shoots the ball more than anyone by far. I said a couple weeks ago that he would be the difference for ISU winning. He is a selfish player who thinks he is better than everyone.

Wasted opportunity. No excuse to lose that game, I don't care how bad the officiating was (and it was horrendous).

You bring that type of fire out of the gate, on both ends, it has to be more than just a moral victory. It's not like you can bottle it and use it to win other games. Why not beat somebody "substantial"?

I give them credit for the fast start, weathering some comebacks (3 times?) ... last 10 minutes were awful.

Bring this effort every game — Every game — and we'll see a 13-5 conference record.

Allen should be yanked when he's forcing shots. He has an instinct but isn't level-headed.

I'm OK with sitting Royce to preserve fouls in the first half, but only if a lead or momentum can remain stable.

babb and allen both looked off balance on their shots today, even when open. Freddy needs to coach them up on their form. It's hard enough to make threes let alone when fading away kicking out your legs.

I know Allen is gonna keep playing because apparently he's the only one that can handle the ball well enough. That has to be it, otherwise in my mind he's done enough to sit for a while.
