This season is going one of two ways
We are going to go on one hell of a run to the NCAA's, or the wheels are going to fall off and we don't even finish .500. I just feel like the team is at a point where it's going to click, or fall apart. I don't think there is going to be any middle ground.

Re: This season is going one of two ways
I honestly believe we win the games we should and lose the one we should and go to the NIT. Based on right now. Baylor, KU, KSU, and MU are 8 losses IMO. maybe KSU at home as a push so I'll call it 7.
Just can't see us making the tourney now. But I want to so bad.

Disagree. I can't see us completely falling apart as you might suggest. I think we're playing well enough to where it's NCAA's or NIT.

I think it's determined how we play against Okie State this Wednesday. If we lose that game, then it won't be a good finish.

The whole season cant hinge on one game. I think these statements are extremely dumb. Especially with the amount of transfers that we have. People always make statements like this but what does it actually mean? Just a dumb assessment by a fan who doesn't understand the game of basketball. It's much more complex than that.

It can also screw up a team mentally to lose three games in a row and one of those should have been easy. I'm not saying it's the end of the world, but it would really put a damper on our guys' spirits.

Re: This season is going one of two ways
It's a little melodramatic to think the season hinges on this next game. If we have a bad game against Okie State, it isn't the end of the world. These guys work too much to go on a big slide if they lose to Okie State at home. Anything's possible, but you sound like ESPN trying to create a story where there isn't one.

That 2005 team with Stinson, Blalock, and Homan went 0-5 to start the Big 12 season and somehow managed a 9 seed in the NCAA tournament.

As long as Royce White is on the team there will be no destruction. He is too talented.

We're going to be somewhere around .500 in the league. What side of that we break on determines a tournament bed.
The thing is, we're going to hang with everyone but I can't see this team beating someone they aren't supposed to except maybe KU. That's a loss at Mizzou, 2 losses to Baylor, and a loss in Manhattan.

I disagree. One game can change a season. The loss at Okie St. last year I believe had a devastating effect on the rest of the season. Hopefully this team is different.

Just ask our 6' 1" small forward or the 6' 5" power forward or the 6' 10" shooting guard.

Re: This season is going one of two ways
Not that we have shown that we can play, I expect good things. Booker has really improved. CA needs to play more like an assist man. Scotty needs to take more shots. Babb needs to pick up the offense.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

Re: This season is going one of two ways
If we can win on Wednesday, I think we can go on a little bit of a run.
These team just needs to taste victory, but they have to have the right frame of mind. They can't be over confident or under confident. They have to come in with the exact right attitude. I hope they can do this.
