Wasn't able to watch this one, could only track online. When it was 66-60, I got that sick feeling that's become so familiar the past few years.
And then, deservedly so or not, ISU managed to pull it out.
The way it sounds, the team didn't play all that well, and was off. And OSU is probably in a down year, and shouldn't come so close at Hilton.
It would have been crushing to lose this one after a fairly encouraging conference start, and ISU got a little lucky.
You know what's worse than winning a squeaker on an off-night?
Last season, and probably the 3 prior to it, that would have been the outcome.
When you make the plays, you deserve to win.
We made the plays. We deserve this win.
They had 2 guys hit some stupidly awesome shots to keep them in the game. We outplayed them, they were lucky to have a chance to win if you ask me.
Road team looks to have a win in its grasp, then home team rallies to eek it out. (sans the OT, and that part nearly happened, too)

This time, roles were reversed
We should be absolutely happy with a win as fans. The team should not be completely happy with this game by any means, as there is plenty they couldve done better, as ultimately repeat performances of efforts like today will result in losses that neither team nor fans can be happy about.
I do love those who are all 'why are you complaining, we won?!'... it seems the same posters will say 'all of you are just ******** because we lost' after a loss. To some no criticism is ever acceptable.
Inn the last minute or two ISU played to win. OSU played to not lose. That was apparent. Your guys deserved it.
If playing outstanding defense in the last minute of the game and hitting three point shots in line with our reputation as a shooting team is being lucky, then I'd rather be lucky than good..
Perhaps we didn't deserve to win - we allowed a team not as good as us to hang with us - or perhaps OSU was just lucky to be in the game themselves because Royce White picked up a couple of early fouls and a midget got hot from behind the arc.
