I always view us as the underdog going into a conference road game. The statistics don't lie. If we can sneak out of Lubbock with a win tomorrow, I'll be very excited.

It is somewhat due to happenstance and what ISU teams have happened to played in Lubbock, but ISU is 1-6 (.1429) in Lubbock since the start of B12 play and 3-13 in Lawrence (.1875).

ISU has won 3 times since the start of B12 play, 96-97. KU has lost 5 other home conference games to 5 different teams.

When ISU won in 2005 it was the 5th conference home loss for KU and 3rd to ISU.

I think a March Madness worthy team should beat TTech on the road. Not sure if that is us or not yet.

I have been able to watch TT several times. They are an improving team but seem to have trouble putting a full game together. It might be a closer than many think but believe we will win in a close one. ISU 72-TT 68

Weird that they are only averaging 64 points a game and they are shooting near 46%. Are they required to pass the ball 7 times before anyone shoots?

WOW! Hopefully that keeps up...turnovers would have to be one of the easier things to correct I would think. If they clean that up, it could be a close game.

On paper, this is a double-digit win. Compare RPI and Sagarin to A&M and OSU, Tech is well below both.

But games aren't played on paper — unless all the players are very tiny.

If we get out of the gates fast, and Royce gets a few easy buckets and assists I could see this game getting out of hand about half way through the 1st half. On the other hand, we start slow.. We will be in for a dogfight, Big 12 on the road is tough I don't care where you're playin!
