Royce White Free Throws
Shout out to Royce. Sure 6-11 isn't super pretty but a heck of an improvement in a big time game. There were some critical ones made down the stretch and just imagine this game if he hadn't made those. For all the slack he's been getting for it.. good job Royce!

Glad to see the 6-11, but even more so I did like not seeing any that were airballs or had no chance, that is a huge improvement.

Re: Royce White Free Throws
Great post, you can tell he has been working hard at it. Great to see him sink those 2 big ones down the stretch. I am very impressed with how hard he has worked. Is it just me or does anyone else think that he's here for 2 more years? Unlike most players he has more ambition to him than just basketball, I am so proud of him and coach for taking a chance on him.

Also good crowd support for him today, he missed and people still clapped.

Great improvement and if he works on it more, he'd be unstoppable if he takes the "hack-a-White" outta the game.

Re: Royce White Free Throws
So much of it is mental. At Texas and in some previous games you could definitely see he was totally psyching himself out. The one game he changed his FT setup from one FT to the next. That's never a good sign.

Re: Royce White Free Throws
How about the one towards the end, I think his 2nd to last set, when he got a swoosh on the first one and then walked about halfway down the lane and stared up at the rim for 2 seconds like "did it really not hit anything? and was good?!"
Then the 2nd bounced in and all was right in Cyclone land.

Then the 2nd bounced in and all was right in Cyclone land. He did that because Thomas Robinson told him he was going to miss the free throws.
