Different styles, different types of teams. I think Freddie approaches the games as he should, as the season is much longer in basketball. Too long to get all riled up about one win or loss. I think his own college experience and NBA experience show through. He is businesslike, and I'm impressed with that. Love Coach Rhoads and how he can deliver a football speech, but this isn't football.

I think we need to keep the cameras out of the locker room, its their space. I imagine fred being very aware of what he is saying doing knowing its going on youtube so fast. let them celebrate like a team without such a public viewing. im glad it works for cpr, but not for a lot of coaches, especially in basketball.

I agree. In football there are over 100 people in the lockerroom so the enviroment is very different. I would rather the team get the chance to privately celebrate the win than stick a camera in every basketball postgame lockerroom.

It doesn't matter if Fred is quiet and more reserved, he is getting the job done.

The guys seem to really like him, and really want to play for him and play hard for him.

That's what matters.

Football is more emotional and each game takes a lot out of you, basketball is more controlled emotion and requires you to harnass it much more over the long haul of the season.
