Maybe he just doesn't feel like ISU is a good team, kind of like how I don't feel like Missouri or Kansas is a good team. Sure, they win, but for whatever reason I don't think they're very good.

Exactly. Fans have a tendency to expect everyone else to know/care about their team as much as they do. Most people outside of Iowa view this as a, "Kansas lost," thing rather than an, "Iowa State won," thing. The same goes for the Ok.St. football game. It'll take more than one big upset and a couple of good conference wins for us to really get noticed beyond a few nice online write-ups, but I have faith that Freddy will take us there.
