It amazes me how everyone wants to jump on one thing and we have waited for years to see some REAL positives come out of Hilton. Guys (and gals) take it from someone who has had season tickets since the '70's. Something special is developing in Hilton and it is a lot more fun to look at the good things than rip every little wart. Go Cyclones!!
I'm not ripping at all... I'm actually kind of pleased that my Hawk relatives are all up in arms about this.

My biggest thing is... that without seeing it I have no argument. For all I know, Fred gave him a forearm shiver and tapped him out with an arm bar.
See my shadow changing, stretching up and over me...
Soften this old armor, hoping I can clear the way...
By stepping through my shadow, coming out the other side...
Step into the shadow, forty-six and two are just ahead of me.

Re: Anybody have a clip of the Hoiberg "shove"

It looked like to me that CA was kind of, or in the process of, going over to Fred to try and explain himself in the "Awh coach I'm sorry I messed up, it won't happen again" all buddy- buddy like and maybe getting close to Fred by doing that. Fred obviously wasn't having that type of friendly conversation with CA and gave him a hey, this is serious situation, don't get all buddy buddy and close to me.

Sorry if I explained that badly. Maybe someone else can corroborate.
Hilton Coliseum was specifically built to hold in sound with a solid concrete structure, steel doors, and a crowd that sits just a few feet from the court. With a fan base that frequently ranks among the nations largest crowds, players from opposing teams, as well as Iowa State, have said that the floor has shaken due to the loudness of the crowd

There is nothing wrong at all with getting your point across. Its not like he took a swing, or anything remotely close.

I like when Fred gets mad. I wish he would show more fire sometimes. I think we all know Eustachy and Floyd did probably way worse than a little "push" to some players.

You can watch it on ESPN3.com, and can fast forward using the progress bar at the bottom. They show both shoves described above.

Fran also grabbed a referee in that same game, he gets completely out of control when he gets angry. Imo Fred was not out of control at all, Allen needed a little ruffling, you know he was quite upset as he is usually very calm and poised/business like.

It was kind of like this except less psycho, shorter, and the shove was barely noticeable.

Fred's anger got away from???? I seen it when it happened and also after a commercial break when the announcers made mention of it. Announcers didn't see anything wrong with nor did I. Allen gave up after making a stupid turnover that led to us losing the lead. Then to top it off, Allen gives up on playing any defense as he walks to the other end. He deserved more than he got.......and what he got obviously was a point well taken because his play improved after that when he went back in. This isn't a 5 yr old basket weaving class....give me a break.

He's also a big Iowa fan most likely. The worst haters out there--UNI grads who are hawkeye-wannabee's and hate ISU

    Pathetic people
