I never liked Bob Knight when he was a coach, but I have to say he is a dang good commentator. I usually learn something listening to him every game, plus he seems to always give credit when credit is due.

When Coach Knight was at Indiana in the 80's he was very close to quitting and becoming a color commentator for CBS and then one of his players,Landon Turner,was
seriously injured in an automobile crash and he stayed in coaching because of that.
