We were absolutely exhausted tonight; you could tell this team was dragging 10 minutes into the game. K-State looked pretty worn-down, too, but I think a lot of our shortcomings tonight (flatfooted D, relatively low rebounds, turnovers) can be explained by being just plain gassed from the KU game. We're normally pretty damned good at the fundamentals--I think we stay right there in 4th the rest of the season and have a real shot at edging out Baylor for 3rd. This is a solid team.

If they get a bit better, they could be really hard to stop. The one thing that worries me is that there are times when it seems that no one can get a decent looking shot off of the dribble. Aside from that Royce is the match-up from hell!

Frank Martin came prepared and was loading up the paint with D tonight, which is why we couldn't get much going by driving at the bucket. It worked in our favor in that we got sent to the line a lot (look at Scotty's line in the box score), but it seemed to take the coaches a long time to adjust. I don't think we scored much at all from set plays tonight.

Im happy that we are at the halfway point in the conference and we arent praying we can find a way to sneak into the nit. I would have taken fourth place in November and will be satisfied with that come march. I think they can get third and even second if they stay hot.

I can't believe how many people bag on Clones21 considering he's nothing more than a microcosm of the entire board.

I think it's just the trendy thing to do now. He wasn't the only one cheesed off in this (or every) game thread. He's just the username people recognize.

I bag on him because he threatened to arrest me....may or may not have been my fault originally, but the fact is, he threatened to arrest me.

Really though the other poster on here who is slowly working his way up to 21 level is...well I can't remember his name, but he has a pink avatar. Guy is almost as uneven as our rock and roll friend here.
